DEPARTMENT HIGHLIGHTS
- • 1st & 2nd Party Facility Audits: Field / processing facility / documentation auditing on behalf of VLM and VLM’s customers.
- • On Site Training of foreign suppliers by way of in-house expertise determining and implementing appropriate preventive controls, monitoring programs and validation activities.
- • Evaluation of foreign suppliers. VLM’s team of food safety analysts work to obtain and assess supplier prerequisites and food safety programs.
- • Verification and approval of foreign suppliers’ food safety documentation accuracy.
- • Monitoring of all microbiological and pesticide test results received from supplier‘s in-house or 3rd party laboratories.
- • Regular ongoing 3rd party laboratory pesticide and microbiological testing on our China origin product to ensure US standards are met and maintained.
